tubs.CITY, the Center for Informatics and Information Technology at the Technische Universität Braunschweig is a research union of member institutes working in computer science, electrical engineering, information, and economics.
At TU Braunschweig, a DFG funded Research Group “Controlling Concurrent Change” (CCC) involving 8 faculty members in EEIT and CS has started this year. CCC addresses key issues in managing change and autonomy in safety critical and high availability systems with current focus on automotive and aerospace applications.
This year’s tubs.CITY Symposium will be dedicated to the CCC research topics. Speakers are research group members as well as international experts. Intended audience are all people in research and industry who work in development and maintenance of critical, software intensive embedded systems. The symposium will end with a panel where CCC partners will discuss with representatives from industry under which circumstances autonomous change in critical systems will be feasible in practice.
