ETH Zurich is a science and technology university funded by the Federal State of Switzerland. It is the study, research and work place of 27,000 people from 80 nations. Engineering, architecture, system-oriented sciences, mathematics, natural sciences, management and social sciences are the core activities at ETH Zurich. The Computer Engineering Group of Prof. Lothar Thiele is part of the Electrical Engineering and Information Technology Department (ITET), and is in charge of the CERTAINTY project. One focus of the group is to conduct research in Embedded Systems, and in particular related to CERTAINTY are the areas: System Engineering, System Analysis (applicable in WP5), and Multi-objective Optimization (applicable in WP7).
